Every 28 years the Gregorian calendar will repeat itself. More or less. When I turned 28 I made a timeline of all significant losses and corresponding events in my life, for as far back as it was easy to recall. In the two years that followed my life reset itself. Could there be anything to this? I guess I'll find out in 2037.
To quote Isabelle Allende's The House Of The Spirits, "I write... that memory is fragile and the space of a single life is brief, passing so quickly that we never get a chance to see the relationship between events. I want to think that my task is life and that my mission is not to prolong hatred but simply to fill these pages."
